Heritage Collection & Museum

Ancient mythology tells of how this island emerged from the Ionian waters by divine command, created as a sanctuary for a legendary union. Perhaps this romantic origin explains the timeless allure that has captivated travelers for generations. The museum preserves tangible traces of countless influences that have shaped the island's distinctive character across millennia.

Location: The collection is housed within a historically protected structure from the early 1900s, originally built as an educational facility in 1906. The building itself stands harborside, serving as both exhibit space and architectural landmark.
